Dimensions coming out Metric

We just recently brought in a part which was drawn in Metric. We went into files, and properties and changed over to English. However when we go to dimension the part in a drawing , it comes out Metric.

You need to change the units of the model. I think what you changed was the setting for what units a new part would use.

You also need to change the drawing default settings to the proper units.

would that be in the drawing, under file-drawing options-drawing units ?

Some other things to try if the other suggestionsdon't work: when you converted did you convert or interpret dimensions and does your drawing have dual dimension options set?

If you have different drawing sheet formats for inch and metric, be sureyou are usingthe correctsheet format.
