Something ~I've~ pondered in the past and never found a way to
do: a "C" section channel with all three faces joggled to nest
inside another identical section channel. Is there a practical
way to model and flatten using Sheetmetal evironment tools?

Hello guys,I have some questions about the deformation.Can we determine the K factor (springback factor),for making molds automatically with radious,through sheetmetal?The springback phenomenon is an elasto-plastic deformation.

You sketch on the side of a sheetmetal part the area of deformation so the geometry can stretch appropriately only in that area. To get the form feature to flaten is much easier (like your picture). 'Flatten form' does not take into account the stretch of material for a long draw tho.
