Cut using surface

Good morning all,

Its been awhile since I have done a cut using surface. It use to be feature>create cut> use surf. In Wildfire 4 I have no clue where the menu pics went. I have a solid body that I want to cut a volume out using surfs. I have completed my merges and now need to cut out the volume. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

The command is called "solidify" now.. located under "edit", be sure to"click" /highlightyour surface first.

you can solidify in a cut direction or a solid direction.
