Cut out grayed out

I have two intersecting parts in an assembly that I would like tocut outbut the option is grayed out. Using WF4, master rep, absolute accurracy... any help?

also, parts are fully constrained and I checked the archives for solutions...but no luck.

You have Pro/assembly or Pro/Assy_performance loaded?


Also, check 'tools' assembly settings' 'ref control', under 'objects'set to 'all'.


if its set to none your merge and cutout will be grayed out


Can't think of anything else.
