Creating a new material

Hello guys.
I want to apply a material (SA213 Gr. T22) on a model and calculate it's weight but such a material does not exist in the materials library so I decided to create a new material. The density of the material is 7.85kg/m. I see that the density can only be input in kg/cubic metre option. Also on entering some random value and selection kg/cubic metre I get the option of either "convert value" or "interpret value". The dimensions I made the model in is "mm". Now how to make this material so that the resulting weight comes in kg!!

kg/m is not a volumetric density...it is linear mass density...
U should have a value of density in kg/cu.metre...
i think material u stated is steel having density 7850 kg/cu.metre

Ok. Assuming the density is 7850 kg/cubic metre. How do I apply it so that I get the resultant weight in kg? Please read the next part of the question!

just entre it in box, while you create material, with proper unit (kg/cu.m)....appy material to part...
pro-E will take care of unit conversion, dont worry about that..

just set your model units by edit>setup>units...for desired output mass in KG
