hi members, as i am trying to do contact analysis for railway components,
can anyone tell me wats the difference between "surface" and "part"
option when creating a contact connection?
If you dont get ny question, this is probably more descriptive. when you
create a contact connection, you have two options: surface and part. As i
tried surface by manually cclicking on the surface that may be in contact
it gives me only the number of surface that i selected to be in contact.
While when i tried part option, it automatically creates 31 surface for me.
Can anyone advise the difference? and obviously the result is also
different, running time is also longer for part option.
