If you're talking about searching for multiple parts, like AD123*, then selecting multiple objects and checking out, you have to initiate that search from the workspace. In PDMLink 8.0, if you use the search at the top right of a page, you can't select multiple objects to check-out, add to workspace, etc. Open your workspace and click the Add to Workspace icon (with no objects selected). That initiates a search or browse, where you can then select multiple files to add to your workspace (with the option of checking them out).
