Hi All

Can anybody tell is there a way to display the theCOG of a part, I know that mass

properties calculates the location, do I need to create a point manually?

Thanks

Create an analysis feature:

Analysis->Model->Mass Properties

Click on the eyeglasses to run the mass properties:

Then click on the features tab:

Now you can select either a coordinate system or point to be at the COG.

Click check mark to finish.

Thanks, Tobyk, excellent insructions! Only thing is I get to the last step and those

checkboxes are greyed out?

Thanks Again!

Thats because you need BMX (behavior modeling extension)
to make those 2 things.

However you can write out the 3 cog values using the
check boxes above that, and then make a new coordinate
system offset from the default and relate those three
values to the x y z values of your new coordinate
system.

Also you should put those calculations in your post
regeneration relations.

And then just make sure you keep moving the analysis
feature and your csys to the bottom of the model tree as
you continue modeling.
