"cannot start design study" error

Hello All,


I am a newbie to Pro/mechanica. I am trying to run a simple torsion problem where at one end of plastic part, I am applying a toque while other end is rigidly fixed. The error I get when I run the analysis is "Cannot start design study".


Can someone help me? I have also included the original file for reference.

the attached model has no loads or contraints

Basic FEA fundamentals dicatates that solid elements cannot have rotational DOFs, so the boundary conditiona applied will not work. If this was a shell-only model you'd be fine. This is based on reviewing the image only - which does show loads and constraints, but not for solid elements.
