BOM balloons for *included* components

My repeat region contains some components that are "included" rather than "assembled". Small parts (like dowel pins) which are tedious to assemble into their proper places but need to appear in the drawing's BOM. Is there a way to create or show a real BOM balloon on the drawing which references the BOM'S part number?

Thanks.

In your assembly model, you can add a bulk item, or even an empty part model.

Fill in the parameters to suit what you want to show in your BOM.

One example of the kind of part that may appear in the BOM but not in the assembly drawing is hardware needed for disassembly like a jacking screw. I want to point to the threaded hole and show the screw's BOM balloon.
