Has anyone out there had the following error?
Reference entity assumed to be vertical or horizontal has changed orientation.<br style="color: rgb(0, 0, 255);">Please redefine the section.
I have a sheet metal part where I am copying geometry from a skeleton. The profile I am copying is beveled from 90 degrees (vertical), 94 degrees or 86 degrees, depending on user parameters. See screenshot below.
I get this error when the geom goes from 90 degrees to 86 or 94 degrees. I understand that Pro/E is assuming it is a vertical line, but since I am using the command to "Use Edge" to generate the sketch, why is it assuming vertical? I have no vertical constraints... :-/
If anyone knows how to get around this (maybe a config.pro setting to NOT assume... you know what they say when you ass-u-me...) I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance,
Jim
