I need to take a copyrighted company logo and create a cut in a proe.prt file.

The available file formats from AI are .AI, .pdf, .svg, .eps

AI can export as a dxf.

Then select Insert-Shared Data- from file and select the dxf.

Now you can use sketcher to use the lines from the dxf to create a cut.

To expand upon that, after you have brought the dxf into a sketch Save the sketch ( .sec) via Backup to your Sketcher Palette location so you can re-use it when needed. If you create a LOGO folder in your designated Sketcher Palette locaton (which you can set via your config.pro) then a LOGO tab will be shown in your Sketcher Palette.

Another tip with LOGOs is to create them at a standard height or width, like say one inch. So when you drag the logo from the sketcher palette you can set the height/width easily by adjusting the scale factor.

For example in the Sketcher Palette image above you see "1 inch tall". If I wanted to make it 0.5 inches tall I would adjust the scale factor to 0.5.
