Adaptive Control

We are considering implementing Toyoda's Adaptive Control function on our horizontal milling machines. We want to use it to catch when a cutter has failed (broken inserts, etc) while in the cut and is causing an overload condition on the spindle.

If anyone has utilized this feature before (or TMAC from Charon Engineering), I would be interested in your thoughts and experiences with it and how you integrated it with Pro/NC.
