Exporting to Mastercam v9?

Does anyone have any experience on the best format to export out of Pro/E for reading into Mastercam v9? Please neglect Step, Pro/E or other translators that are optional add-ons in Mastercam v9.


Also, I'd appreciate any tips on important export options for the specified export format.


I'm looking for an alternative to using iges because, well...it's iges. I've been trying Parasolid, but I haven't been able to get a clean model into Mastercam v9.

STEP is your best bet. I don't understand why you are wanting to neglect it. It is the generic file format for solids just like IGES is the generic file format for wireframe/surfaces.
