3D tabular pressure distribution

seekinganswers

Hi all,<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

1) Mechanical has the ability to define a spatially distributed pressure distribution in 1 dimension by using tabular input. This is available by choosing Function of Coordinates from the distribution submenu in the Pressure definition.

2) Mechanical has the ability to define a spatially distributed pressure distribution in 3 dimensions using a symbolic function.

Does anyone one know of a demo option, mnf manipulation or any other "cheat" to allow me to define a spatially distributed pressure distribution in 3 dimensions using tabular input. (The interpolated over entity option only allows a bilinear distribution in two dimensions and is not sufficient. I need to define a very complicated distribution.)

It is obvious that Mechanica can handle complicated 3D spatially distributed loads because of 2) above. It should not be an impossibility for Mechanica to interpret a 3 dimensional tabular distribution of the same.

Thanks.
