3-side-edge round

Hello kcad. Thx for kind words. Unfortunately - regarding my web site - all new stuff has been lost recently and I was pushed load old contnet.

So to anyone - SORRY FOR PROBLEMS! Everything is going to be solved soon. Suppose it could take a week, no longer.

Regarding you question - I would take advantage of Transition mode inside Round environment. There is patch type of transition which should make the job right.

Thank you muadib3d, patch would work, but I seem found some
round problem regarding the whole round edges. Still give
it a try using the method in tuts for the whole round.
Might post update lately.

Thanks again.

If you insert ahead of this round and apply a round first to the edge shown as sharp, then this round should wrap it just fine.

I'm curious how you created that round as shown. Usually it won't try to wrap and create that sort of transition, it'll leave a sharp edge between the rounds.

Hi dgs, I created the round as surface, merge, then
solidify it to cut from main body shape.

What you've mentioned method can do the job, but on the
other side of the model will have a cross Y-shape round
needed to be solved, which would be sharp edge if I created
them as solid, so it needed to be created as surface, then
made some changes(trims back, boundary blends) for the "eye
candy" issue.
