Hi Guys,
sorry for the long topic title, hope you understand.
First of all I'm new here.
At college I 've fiddled a bit with pro E and afterwards with Solid works.
Today I'm using it to relief our engineering department of some work and myself of explaining what I want.
At the moment I have a simple part that is built from complex parameters and relations.
Because the part is part of a 4 piece assembly, I want to import the part into an assembly and sketch the other three in the assembly, relating to the first part.
From there I want to make a family table that changes the first part, and the other parts should change automaticly.
For now I succeeded in doing this until the family table part.
If I change things in de the generic all changes with that, but when I open another instance, the remark comes that all relations are to the generic.
Hope you understand what I mean and have a solution for me.
Can't be that of a problem?
