Thank you Administrators

Thank you Dave & others,

The New Site looks great and I can log in now.

I'd like to thank all the Forum Admins for the work they've done and will do to adjust to the new format and capabilities.
[Auto Saved] notifictaion... Cool stuff

I look forward to a spamically-challenged 2013.

Is there an ideas or suggestions post for user feedback?
I'll click the Go Advanced button to see what it does next

Michael

Yeah those are the REALLY old links there. Here's the new ones as run through Google's FeedBurner system.

Code:
Creo :: http://feeds.feedburner.com/MCAD-Creo
SolidWorks  == http://feeds.feedburner.com/MCAD-Solidworks
Catia  http://feeds.feedburner.com/MCAD-Catia
Inventor http://feeds.feedburner.com/MCAD-SiemensPLM
Siemens PLM == http://feeds.feedburner.com/MCAD-SiemensPLM

I'm also adding 301 redirects from those links to the new links for everyone who doesn't read this message. :)

You're welcome Michael. It's a big step forward... Let us know if you have any requests... or find any spam that might have gotten converted.

Working on cleaning up Catia right now ;(

Way back when, long long time ago, there were a lot of user contributed models that contained useful modeling techniques for some of the more difficult types of features. In particular, there were some cool variable section sweeps for making things spiral along 3D paths like telephone cords. In the last few years you had to know what you were looking for and do a google search on the site to find them. It would be nice it that could be restored somewhere easy to find.

I've got the old site on my laptop so recovering them shouldn't be all that hard. I'll take a look over the weekend and see if I can find something and figure out how to upload them.

Yay finaly!
Great job on moving to newer forum software, hopefuly we can refresh and content with good contribution!
Think I will spend more time on this forum now :)
