We use .skel parts to define many part aspects that may change. I have surfaces in the .skel to define the outer surfaces of the parts to be created.
I have created the parts and assigned them a color.
When I open the .asm file then open the parts to make changes the colors revert back to what is used in the .skel of the surfaces there.
I have opened the parts, cleared all colors and assigned new colors then filed the parts.
When I open the .asm the colors sill revert back to the .skel.
