in order to add an Assembly constraint, you have to pick an
assembly reference and a corresponding reference from the
part you're inserting, that graphics window serves for that
purpose.
which season of the big bang theory are you watching?

OK I know how to make an assembly, actually my problem is
what you see on the picture, originally there were a prism
and a triangle, but now there are a lot of lines for no
reason. It ofen comes up during the part making session,
the assembly was just an example.

PS: 5th season, the newest episode =)

it should be a graphics card driver issue, set "graphics"
option to "d3d" and see if it helps (you should restart
ProE afterwards). if it didn't then
erase that option and install a newer version of the
graphics card driver, or if its a certified Quadro card,
look up PTC's site for approved version of the driver.

go to tools>options, then enter "graphics" in the options
field and change the value to "d3d",hit "add/change" button
, it should show up in the list above it, press Ok and
restart ProE.

OK I have found it, but the thing is the Creo doesnt want
to run anymore, so where can i get a brand new config file?

Yeah, I've already done it before. Anyway I use a Lenovo
notebook with integrated intel video card. They are around
3 years old. But I don't know if the card is the problem,
because when I am making parts it's running perfectly, but
when I get to select the interfaces it goes wrong, when the
faces have been selected, it turns to normal. It seems bug,
but the strange thing is only I have...
Perhaps, that's called: revenge of the stolen ProE???
