Lost View Cant Highlight

Hi


Got a lad in our office who's been changing a model, now on the drawing,the originaldetail view D, is still there as shown by the view annotain VIEW ON DETAIL D butits lost its references and is in the middle ofspaceand when you try to delete the original view, it highlights in purple saying the follwing view will be deleted, but we cant for the life of us click on the view


How can we highlight detail view D and delete it. Im sure there was a way a while ago, been off proe for a while...lol

I found a workaround...modelled something in the space where the detail view boundary was then the view appeared, highlighted the view but was still unable to delete it, right mouse click and said pick from list and chose the view, was then able to delete the detail view, then deleted the excess bit added to the model...
