Remove weld from cross section

I'm having a little trouble here. I have an assembly that has a lot of
welds on it. Some of the welds are inside of other components. See the
below screen shot of what I am looking at when i go to the drawing to create
it. What I would like is when I cut the assembly at the cross section we
only see the edges of the weld, not the whole thing. What parameter am I
not setting up right to get this to happen? Is it something that pro/e just
can't do? Thanks in advance for the help!

me too.... i am getting this kind of problem. for this i will go for solid to hide this.

Does anybody resolved it???

Thanks....

In the view display you have to select HLR for quilts in the view properties and it must be selected before you create the cross section. Once the cross section is created, changing this value will not affect the welds.

Weldment xsections display should be set to Show on the same properties tab.
