skeleton overload

New member
here is my situation, WF4 i have a top level assembly with nearly 100 hoses created with pro/piping in it. each hose assembly hasthe exact sameskeleton assembly in it. i noticed that as i kept adding to my top level assembly my machine started to bog down.

my problem is that i have roughly 100 of the same skeletons in there and when i suppressed most of the features my machine started acting normal again.

why is pro/e acting like this?

has anyone ever encountered the same thing?

what are my options?

Megaladon,

Sounds like an awful lot of overhead. Are you using copy geometry in each of the skeletons? Have you tried creating offset CS's for the fittings in the hose assemblies? That's how I would normally handle that task. That way the fittings are oriented and placed correctly. The offset CS is created with a transform file (.trf) to simplify things. HTH.
