Curved-arm Pulley in ProE WF5

Assalam-o-Alaikum ... :) :)
.
Hello Guys ...
.
I'm having a problem while drawing the following curved-
arm cast iron pulley in ProEngineer Wildfire 5 ...
.
The problem is modeling of 'curved-arms' ... I think that
they can be modeled using: 'datum curve' or 'a simple
curve' and then using 'swept blend' tool along that curve
...
.
I know something about the 'swept blend' but I don't know
anything about drawing a curve or a datum curve in ProE
(using equations, graphs or something else) ...
.
Is there any way to draw these arms ... Please help me
out ... :) :)

Dear Muhammad

If you wish to model them using the "Sweep Blend" method do the following:

  1. <LI>Draw a curve using Sketch tool.</LI>
<LI>Sketch the begginingellipse at the starting point of the sketched curve.</LI>
<LI>Sketch the end ellipse at the end point of the sketched curve.</LI>
    <LI>Go to "Insert"-----"Swept Blend"</LI>
<LI>Select thecurve you sketched in step 1.</LI>
<LI>From "Sections"select theBegining ellipse you sketched in step 2.</LI>
<LI>Click oninsert and select the end ellipse.</LI>

Hope that helps.

Alright ... I'mma give it a go ... Actually I'm a bit
allergic to 'Variable Section Sweep' tool ... I've always
found it, well, quite confusing ... :) :)
