How can u use fillet command in assembly?

I dont think its possible. You need to activate a part. Is it a weld your looking to show?

Fillets can add material to a part (internal fillet) therefore, you cannot use them in assembly mode.

First posting so please go gentle. I too would be very interested to know how to add fillet weld whilst in theassembly model - if you know how, please do tell!!!

You can use the Welding module. You can do it manually but you will have to do it by using surfaces. By using the welding module, you have the option of showing the welds filled in a cross-section as well as having it incorporated into mass properties calculations.
