Angular point spacing on a spiral

Markardi

New member
Hi,

I was wondering if someone could help me out?

I've created a 164mm diameter disk and made a spiral curve on it:
x=(50+30*t)*sin(360*5*t)
y=(50+30*t)*cos(360*5*t)
z=0

I then created a datum point at the start of the curve and want to pattern it. My problem is I want the spacing of the subsequent points to be 1.8 degrees relative to the axis of the disk. To further complicate things, once the first rotation is done (as now the points will then be too close together) I want to change the spacing to 3.6 degrees and so on.

The dimension pattern follows the curve no problem, but if I try and change it to Axis it doesn't work.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Mark

Just exclude every second member from pattern where necessary, or use pattern table.
