dual dimensioning fractional issues

Cubano

New member
i have never come acorss this issue and it has a ptc tech help guy and myself completely lost.

i create drawing dimension and setthe format to fractional, theni set my drawing configs to the following:

dual_dimensioning "secondary[primary]"

dual_metric_dim_show_fractions "NO"

dual_metric_dim_show_fractions "NO"

dual_secondary_units "INCH"

use_major_units "YES"

drawing_units 'MM'

where the issue comes in is that if my primary metric dimension is 1200.5 i actually get 1m200-1/2. if im purposely telling the drawing config to not show fractions for metric dimensions why is it still doing it? could there be some other config thats overiding my command?

as far as the M in 1m200, the M only shows up when i turn ON the use major untis config, problem is i need to show my dims in that format and i noticed a pattern that if the primary metric dimension is 999 the M does not show up, as soon as i go to 1000(add a 4th digit) then it shows up as 1m000, if the dim is 20000, it shows as 20m000.

any help would be great!

thanks guys.
