Dimensioning Pitch Circle

Please explain me how to dimension the PCD of a set of holes as shown in the picture attached.

Hi abi,


You have explained an alternate method. My problem is that, during dimensioning, I am unable to pick the Pitch circle for dimensioning. Is there any way to dimension features by picking the axes?


For your second question, I didn't make the axes rotate. During modelling, the holes were made by pattern. In drawing, the axes will appear like this.


Still I didnt get the answer.

For this we need to create a sketch in modeling as construction & need to call in detailing.

U just draw PCD in detailing & make linetype as center line .......

If youdefine the first hole of your pattern with the option diameter, you can show this dimension in the drawing
