The reason that I ask this is because the "Common Name" of my generic is the same as the "Common Name" for my instance. This wouldn't be that big of a deal, but it is the generic's common name that needs to be changed, not the other way around. Any feedback on this would be appreciated.
you can add the common name as parameter in your generic and add the parameter in your family table and change the common name in your instance table this way the generic and the common name of your instance inthe family table will have a different names
