Why are some sub-assemblies regenerating?

When I open the assembly to my current project I have one sub-assembly that will always regenerate automatically. Since this takes some time it's quite annoying. I haven't been able to figure out what causes a part or assembly to automatically regenerate. Does anyone know? I'm not the one working on the sub-assembly so I'm not sure if anything was done to it to make it do so.

Thanks.

If some part changed in the assembly the assembly will be forced to regenerate.

For cabling even a spool change will be cause for regeneration in an assembly.

Family tables have a nasty tendency to force your regeneration in an assembly. That might be your problem.

I have also seen circular references, geom checks, and assembly cuts cause regenerations as well.

Thanks mardeb. The assembly cut was the culprit. There was a suppressed assembly cut in the sub-assembly. I deleted it did one more regeneration and now the sub-assembly does not regenerate.
