Pro/E exiting prematurely

Sorry about posting here, but I couldn' tthink of anywhere that's appropirate.


I've installed ProE W4.0 student edition and have problem running the thing.


Itexits prematurelyas it tries to connect to the website on the browser


I tried disconnecting the internet, same problem occurs.


I presume it's not graphics card, BTW I use 7800GTX, tried the config.pro trick, won't work.


Running on Vista 32bit.

what config.pro trick are you speaking of.

is it the web_browser_homepage set to about:blank? is
that the one you are referring too?

If that is set and you launch proe and it still tries to
navigate to the resource center, you have your config in
the wrong place.

very similar problem.

I'm thinking it may be due to firewall, I switched it off, but still won't run.


Maybe due to the license issue?
