Blanking Layers Using ModelCheck

New member
I am trying to blank layers using ModelCheck. I have had no luck with datums that i created, so I called PTC help. This is what I was emailed in reply:

" DES: Controlling the display status of layers in the drawing.

While running ModelCHECK on a drawing, only the layers which are native to the drawing can be checked.

That means , the layers listed in the Drawing layer tree, that actually belongs to the model, will not be checked.

This is the current ModelCHECK functionality. You can not blank layers of the model in drawing. They have to be controlled by running ModelCHECK on part itself with "PRT_LAYER <name> BLANK" defined in the start file (*.mcs). "

Is this true?
