It's HPGL, just change the extension if it matters.
We put our referenced models as shrinkwraps in a skeleton model. This allows us to turn the skeleton on/off using layers in the model
and we do not need to filter out extra models in the BOM because...

I can get file now , but it always has .plt as extension. Does creo ever generates print output in .hp or .hpgl format?
Print to a file. Pick the HP printer/plotter that outputs the kind of HPGL you want, unselect sending the file to the printer and select sending the data to a file.
