I think I might know the answer here. I might be stuck.
In short, my company has been purchased by another company which uses Solid Works. The goal ultimately is to convert or remodel...
Can someone explain what the heck happened with displaying annotations in Creo 3? I just don't get this.

For some reason in drawing mode when I try to show axes, this message comes up like there are no axes to show.
Why? I do this all the time.

I'm not sure why I don't know the answer to this.
I've imported a step file which is a very large assembly. I want to add material to the component parts so I can generate an overall mass. ...
Does anyone know if there is a way to define an explode state of a sub assembly that's on an upper level assembly?
Similar to how you can user define a simplified rep from a lower level assembly?...

Yes you can filter out in a repeat region or create a simplified representation then assign that rep to the BOM table. Or if it's just a display thing you're after, you could use component display...
Never mind. I feel like such an idiot. It's the repeat region, flat/rec item.
I'm pretty sure this will be easy for someone who knows. I've been using Pro/E for many years and it seems to me there is a repeat region condition for showing a flat BOM. I am experimenting now...
Is there a way (maybe a condition in a simplified rep) where a BOM table can show all assembly components even if they are found in a sub assembly? For instance 5 sub assemblies each with...
How can I save a copy of an assembly and give all the assembly members a new name by auto generating a numbering sequence?
I can't simply add a suffix because in my case, the imported assembly has...
I should be more specific here it's just frustrating for a colleague of mine who is fairly new at Pro/E. It's with connection definition issues and I recall from earlier versions of Pro/E (Wildfire)...
In Creo 1.0 has anyone noticed that it doesn't work very well and is a piece of junk?

I need to either prove or disprove my belief.
My boss thinks there is a way in Creo (ProE) to make an existing 2D model based drawing independent of the model essentially making it a detached...
I've got a fiberglass water tank that we are going to be fixing side panels too. The resulting thin panels should look relatively flat so we are having mounting pads glassed in along the sides and I...
Thanks for the help.
This is in typical PTC fashion. Lets just make it a little harder to find for no obvious reason. I was hoping Creo 2 would be a bit more intuitive so I can fight off the...
Simple question. I'm new to Creo 2.0 and I can't seem to get to the model properties to assign materials etc..
Can someone help?
Does anyone know where I can get a model of a MAN TGS Type L Cab
Or even very similar would work.
My mind has gone blank.
I can't get a cosmetic thread to display on a drawing view.
I'm sure it used to be a display setting hidden line
removal for quilts set to off but it's grayed out.
Agreed, I have created many sheet metal parts that won't
un-bend, however the above is also true that you have a
better chance if you can manage to create your part in
sheet metal from the...
Thanks I think the last one will work for me because the
one above only seems to work for the current session.

Well it's certainly good practice to get you design intent
just the way you want it but to say that strong dimensions
are MANDATORY is simply not true.
It is only mandatory that the sketch is...
Is that neat enough?
I thought I explained it the best I could.
I've assembled a sub assembly.
The sub assembly that I just added has it's own simplified
reps. I want to display a simplified rep belonging to the...
I am not an expert at simplified reps.
Can I assemble an item and assign a specific simplified rep
of that sub assembly?
If that makes sense.
Yeah I found it
