Hello all,

Do anyone explain how to create surface regions in pro/mechanica on the surface (one side) of a circular ring. (This surface should be in contact with the other part)

Thanks

Contact analysis requires solid modell.

Make a sketch in Standard mode on the surface.
Switch to Mechanica.
Select the Surface region icon.
Select the sketch, you made earlier.
Select the surface of the model, where the region will be created.

You can also make the surface in mechanica on a similar way.
