Is it possible to show dimensions from a mirrored part on a drawing? So far, I haven't found a way to do so.

In WF3 you can if you select "Include all feature data" as the mirror type.

Yes, create an assembly and insert the part you want to mirror. Then choose Insert>Component>Create from the menu or the Create a component in assembly mode icon. Set the type as Part and the Sub-type as mirror. In the Mirror part dialog box select copy and then your reference part and planar reference. When you expand the part model tree you will see all the original parts features with a mirrored merge at the end.

Yes,

From the Show menu select "Feature and View" and then select your features.

Mirror part with features doesn't work well at all. Has anyone tried it with advanced features, datum curves, surfaces etc? It's not very good at all. A much better method is the mirrored merge part that unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) doesn't have any dimensions to show at all. All geometry is driven from the master model. n my eyes, this is the best method (especially for castings).

I just tried kevinjbrault's method and this is the way to go if you want all of your features to show in the mirrored part or if you add features later that you want in the part. I use the copy mirror to remove features that I don't want in the mirrored part. The drawback is that the copy mirror doesn't update like the mirrored merge does.

The mirrored merge part does have dimensions to show you just have to pick them correctly.
