Thread: IDD tutorial

  1. #1
Has anyone tried this short tutorial on imported surfaces.

The first exercise is basic_prob_with_slvr. Near the start is a find gap and add to wireframe routine that I cannot get through. It finds the gaps alright but cannot add to the wireframe as this is greyed out. Tried it on a few machines and still nothing doing. Anyone care to have a go at this? Looks like a useful tool for dealing with imported surfaces.

    Thanks

It works for me. Did you delete surface 242 in the first step? It actually comes up as surface 244 in the model. All your surfaces have to be grouped together to get the Repair to work.
I've gone thru this tutorial before and there's some unclear bad editing in it.

Thanks for this, I missed having to delete the duplicate surface.
