Pro Program Flex Components

I am trying to swap out a flexible component which is part of an interchange group.I assemble on of the components in the assembly it belongs to and define flexibility based on a measurement. I then run my pro/program to swap out from the interchange and it either loses the flexibility or gives a negative value. Any ideas?
