Model of a Classical Guitar

Hello All,

I am in need of a model of a classical guitar. Does anyone know of any

downloadable sites where I could find one? There's a nice model here in MCAD's

library but it's a very modern type of a guitar which I am unable to use.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your reply Speling.

Yes, the ibanez is nice but I need a vintage stlye classical type guitar.

Very different styling. Will search the forum and hopefully can find one.

Sorry, can't point you to anything specific, or if you've alread tried this and found lacking ...

A web search (tried Google) for

"classical guitar" download model pro/engineer | nurbs

turns up a little over a hundred hits. Maybe ...?

Thanks for your suggestion! Tried that with no luck. I don't have a lot of time

so I figured if I could find one, it would save me hours of modelling time.

If anyone has one they could share, it would be greatly appreciated.

My friend has been work on something which isnt futuristic electric guitar. I am not an expert in guitars, but if I remember well he work on something big and acoustic like ovation.
If you can post here some images what exsactly you looking for, I will see if that is similar with project of my friend and if that is case, I will allow you contact to him.

PS I am not sure is that project finished, because he abounded idea to prepare that for CNC

Thanks so much for your offer to help. Here is what it would look like roughly.

As you can see it is quite a bit different from the ibanez.

Any and all help would be kindly appreciated.

Thanks!

If it is more of a visual and not necessarily dimensionally accurate model of the guitar your looking for then why not rough up the shape and then map images of the style of guitar your looking for onto that shape. You can add little details like strings and whatnot to give it that more realistic touch. You can even use bump mapping on the textures to bring even more life to the guitar. Just a suggestion.
