Suggestions for limiting shown dimensions

In reading a posting on the Drawing forum, I have a couple of suggestions for limiting the dimensions shown with the show/erease menu.

1. Never show zero dimensions unless they are specificly selected.

2. Allow the user to select dimensions in the model for"Dim-Not-Shown" status, either by placing on a layer or some other means.

3. Allow the user to select features for "Dim-Not-Shown" status. For features given this status, a "Dim-Not-Shown-Exempt" might be used to exempt dimension for locating the feature or other dimensions that may have to be shown.

4. The selection of dimensions for "D-N-S" status should be available in sketcher as well as when editing the part.

5. Selecting featurs should be possible from the model tree as well as in the model.

6. In addition to the "Show Dimensions" and "Show Dimension by View" available by RMB from the model tree, "Erase Dimensions" and or "Erase Dimensions by View" may be useful as well.

Thanks;
