got a new job...they use Solidworks does anyone
know what the extension is for family tables in Solidworks
(...it's dead easy in Pro-e its .tst)

they seem to hide it in SoliworksI'd rather not re-do my
family tables for all the hardware I've used over the years
thanx for any help

It was long time when I last use solidworks so I can't really remember what exactly tool name was for family table but I do know that Solidworks use Excel for creating it (well the one I used to work was using excel Solidworks 2000).

Hope it helps a little bit

.tst does not contain the family table. Only the results of a verify

The SW family table lurks in the model tree near the top.

As you will have discovered by now, editor the table for SW is pretty darned awful. And large tables are a nightmare.
