I don't believe you have access to anything other than dimensions for the active model in an Interactive C Program (if that'swhat you mean when you say "variable"). D[0]-D[###] would correspond to the dimensions in the current model but you could try using the D#:<model_id> syntax. I really doubt it would work though - the functionality is really limited.
