Any good tips for going from Pro-Diagram to RSD.

Any one using both system.

Can you get a harness thatss made from a Pro-Diagram .dgmto update with info form RSD.

I'm currently using Pro/Diagram, have purchased RSD but haven't gotten it set up yet. I asked the same question at RSD class last year & was told that all legacy

Pro/Diagram data would not retain it's parameter strings.

RSD is much more powerfull than pro/diagram, and it doesn't run in Pro/E. It can run on its own so your proe license can be used for something/someone else.

Your diagrams can only be imported as dump data at this stage. PTC is looking at developing a tool that can do this conversion. There is some initial setup work to do, but once its done, its works like a dream. No more manually typing of values into parameters. You can read all the values in from a excel file.
