WF 2 - Windchill 7 crasches

We are 8 ProE users on my company. Wehave WF 2m170, Windchill7on p4, 3.2 Ghz, 2 Gb of RAM. Soon we willget Windchill 8.


ProE crasches a couple of times every week. Sometimes when you are in a sketch, defining a component in an assy or when you are searching in Windchill. Have you had the same problem?


We also have problems with workspaces. Our dealer has said that you should

There are some performance gains to be made by upgrading to PDMLink 7 M050 or PDMLink 8. What build of 7 are you on?


Yes, keep workspaces small and delete them when the project is finished.

We use PDMLink 7 M050

I missed it the first time. M170 has been pulled because of bugs and replaced with M171. try upgrading.


We did have some workspaces with 3000 files in them. We kept telling the users to keep them small, and delete them when done. Even if they may need it again in a few days, delete and create a new workspace when it was needed.
