about features Intersection,offset

To create a datum curve at the intersection between two surfaces, create the surfaces. Then while holding the control key down, select both surfaces in the model tree. Then on the top toolbar, select "Edit", "Intersection", and it is done.

To create an "offset" surface, create the first surface. Select this feature in the model tree. Then on the top toolbar, select "Edit", and "Offeset". Select the surfaces from this feature that you want to offset, the distance, and it is done.

To project a datum curve onto a surface, create the surface(s) first. You can either create the datum curve as a feature by itself, or "on the fly".

After the surface has been created, select it on the model tree. On the top toolbar, select "Edit", and "Project. When the "feature window" opens up, you can select the datum curve, (if you created it by itself), or pick the icon to createa newdatum curve. After the curve has been selected, pick "done", the green check mark. For this to work properly, make sure that the datum curve doesn't intersect or "touch" the surfaces selected.
