Pro/E Wildfire 2 Bugs?

(I'm running Pro/E Wildfire2 (date code M110), Intralink 3.4 on XP professional)


I have 2 problems:


Problem #1:


At least twice a week I'm literally thrown out of my session of Pro/E & Pro/Intralink. In my c:\ptc\profile folder there is a std text file (that gets created at the same time the error occured) that reads:


ERROR - C:\ptc\proewildfire2\text\config.sup, linenum 12: Keyword 'CHECK_INTRALINK_ATTRIBUTES' is not valid.
ERROR - C:\ptc\proewildfire2\text\config.pro, line 81: No space between values.
WARNING - C:\ptc\proewildfire2\text\config.pro, linenum 121891416: Configuration file parameter 'USE_8_PLOTTER_PENS' can not be reset.
WARNING - C:\ptc\profile\config.pro, linenum 121891432: Configuration file parameter 'PRO_PLOT_CONFIG_DIR' can not be reset.
ERROR - C:\ptc\profile\config.pro, linenum 158: Keyword 'MAPKEY(CONTINUED)' is not valid.
ERROR - C:\ptc\profile\config.pro, linenum 159: Keyword 'MAPKEY(CONTINUED)' is not valid.
ERROR - C:\ptc\profile\config.pro, linenum 160: Keyword 'MAPKEY(CONTINUED)' is not valid.
ERROR - C:\ptc\profile\config.pro, linenum 161: Keyword 'MAPKEY(CONTINUED)' is not valid.
ERROR - C:\ptc\profile\config.pro, linenum 162: Keyword 'MAPKEY(CONTINUED)' is not valid.
ERROR - C:\ptc\profile\config.pro, linenum 163: Keyword 'MAPKEY(CONTINUED)' is not valid.

ERROR - C:\ptc\profile\config.pro, linenum 170: Keyword 'MAPKEY(CONTINUED)' is not valid.
The 'selflt' toolbar no longer exists
(file C:\ptc\proewildfire2\text\config.win).
init_cri_functions(): No readnewermodels.dll in C:\ptc\proewildfire2\i486_nt\obj\



(I'm thinking there is a conflict between the network config.pro & my local config, most of the network users are using the same build w/ Windows 2000 rather than XP)
Any Ideas?

Problem #2 :


(I believe this is unrelated, as it's only started in the last month):


When defining a feature (in sketcher) A dialog box gets stuck behindthe active window I'm using,the machine acts like it's pausing to ask a question (like constraints), but my pointer is useless at this point& it starts making a loud ringing error tone

On problem 2, it is a window asking for confirmation of your pick. If you select the middle mouse button to accept it will move forward in the command and free up your pointing device.

I guess my confirm click wasn't registering thru the mouse... It's hard to believe


that my woes were caused by a worn out middle scroll button sticking. I have a new


mouse, and have had no issues.
