inverted geometry

Hello there

I'm modelling an icecream extruder. I need the inverted geometry of my
part in order to make some fluid analysis (flow of the ice inside the
form). Can anyone give me some idea how to receive it within proE? Is
it a good direction to look for it in "mold design"?

thanx in advance

Hello,

How about if you create a assembly bring in your base part, asembly using the CS, create a blank part you fluid stream, assembly using the CS. select the surfaces you want to keep buy either single picking each or surface and bound. copy, activate fluid stream part then paste. this will give you the reverse or inside of what you need. cap it off using surfaceing then solidify to make it a solid part. any problems or questions please feel free to respond.

thanks Terry
