This a copy from my previous post.

Thanks for your reply.

In doing my 30 day research, I have not found a pound of users, let-alone a ton.

I have seen very little ... training for PDX.... Zero...

I have seen very little... Do a web search for die designers that use PDX...

Even on this Forum, do a search...

Categorize in this Forum, No......

Where is PDX???.....

From what I can tell so far is that PTC has not stepped up to the plate with PDX

If you want to see die design software...Look at Vero,QuickPress,LogoPress, and NX

and then talk to me about PDX.

Thats my .02

Thanks again!

The company I worked for used to do a lot of work with progresive dies. But that has all changed with the introduction of laser cut techniques. Now most parts are cut on the laser then formed on press brakes.

Yes, depending on the run size, we would also water jet or lazer our blanks, then brake press or Hyd. press. (mostly proto-type stuff)

The right software can make single & prog dies quicker to design.

Cost savings $$$$$$$$$$$$$ adds-up....... Time is Money........

Time is time

More time to go fishing
