TEXT IN DXF NOT USABLE

I am looking at dxf files from my customer which were generated from proe. I am not sure what version made them but when I open them in AutoCAD2004, Ican not do anything with the text. Does anyone have a suggestion or know what is causing this to happen. Please respond A.S.A.P.

It would help if you were a little bit more precise. Can't you select the text ? Is the text dropped as geometry and no longer editable ? ...

Theoption dxf_out_stroke_text controls how pro/e handles text during export .


Set it to "no" and the text will be editable in Acad 2004.


If set to "yes" the text will be converted into single entities.
