Pattern Table Made Easy

Creating pattern using pattern table could be inconvenient specially having too many dimension variables & number of patterns, now it is made easy using Excel & convert it to .ptb file. Figure shows creating pattern table of holes which varies in sizes, the number from 2 to 4 indicates the 2nd to 4th hole since you already havecreated 1st hole & other values indicates variable dimensions. note: when creating a table using Excel don't forget to put !#Pro/TABLE in the first row beacuse without this Pro/E can't read the .ptb file. In creating the .ptb file just saveas the Excel to .txt file & rename .txt to .ptb. Now you can make pattern table very easy by selecting all the variable dimensions respectively & read the file you ceated.
